I moved to the small town of Lomita in 1991 with my wife Karen and our two young children. A lot has changed over the past 29 years. At that time, Lomita did not have many of the big city problems that we have today.
Water quality, crime, development, road conditions, traffic, parking, homelessness, a local grocery store are some of the problems we need to address. Residents were proud to call Lomita home, everyone kept their residences free of clutter and debris. My wife and I could take our kids on walks or to the park without concerns for our safety.
I became a Parks and Recreations Commissioner in 2017. I now want to take the next step and become a City Councilmember.
If elected, I have one goal, to improve the quality of life for everyone that lives, works and plays in this great city. I want to bring back the small town atmosphere that we seemed to have lost over time. The city will not resolve all of the problems overnight, with the right voice on the council we can start the process. To make that happen we need change. On November 3rd, I ask that you vote for me, vote for change.
